The VTM Vending Mobile App

VTM Vending Mobile App

Run your whole vending route from your phone

Open the app and your numbers are already on screen. Today's sales, how many transactions, and what you did yesterday, then your fleet, your alerts, and your best machines this month. Six tabs cover everything else: machines, sales, products, shop, and support. The app stays in sync with VTM Software, so what you see on your phone is what you see at your desk.

VTM Vending app dashboard showing today's sales, weekly, monthly and all time revenue, machine fleet online and offline counts, and alerts

The home screen

The first thing you see is where your money is

The top of the home screen is a snapshot of today: sales so far, the number of transactions behind that number, and yesterday's sales sitting right underneath for comparison. Two machines can do the same revenue on very different traffic, so seeing the transaction count next to the dollar figure tells you whether you had a busy day or one big sale.

Under that, revenue is broken out for this week, this month, and all time. That is the difference between a slow Tuesday and a slow month, and it is the fastest way to know whether a new placement is actually ramping.

Below the revenue block, your machine fleet is split into how many machines are online and how many are offline. Offline is the number that costs you money, because a machine that is not talking is not selling, so it sits on the first screen rather than buried in a report.

Everything on this screen is read only, which is the point. It is the thirty second check you do with coffee before you decide whether today needs a route run or nothing at all. If the numbers look normal and the fleet is all online, you close the app. If something is off, the next tap is already on the screen.

Notifications

Alerts that tell you what needs a visit

Next comes Notifications, split into two kinds.

  • Machine alerts: error codes, jams, and anything malfunctioning.
  • Low stock alerts: triggered by the threshold you set, per machine and per aisle, so a busy location can warn you sooner than a slow one.

Then the home screen closes with Top Machines This Month: your top five locations with revenue and the number of sales behind it, so your best performers and your problem spots are both visible before you tap anything.

Machine list in the VTM Vending app showing each location with online status, address, color coded stock levels and 7 day sales

Machines tab

Every machine, and a bar that tells you what needs stocking

The machines tab lists all your machines with a bar across the top showing how many have ample inventory versus how many are low, out, or disabled. Each row carries the location name, the street address, a color coded stock level, and 7 day sales, with online or offline status on every one.

Green means stocked and the bars shift as inventory drops, so the machine that needs a visit stands out without you opening a single one. Filter to online only when you are planning a route, or search by machine or account email to jump straight to a location.

Tap any machine and you get three tabs: its overview, its aisle configuration, and its settings. That is where the rest of this page lives, and it is all reachable in two taps from the list.

Aisle goods by machine

See and change what is in every aisle

Aisle Config lists every aisle in the machine with its product, its price, and its current count. Plus and minus controls adjust quantity, a Fill button tops an aisle back up, and a toggle turns any aisle on or off. Changes go out to the machine over the air, so a price correction or a sold out aisle is handled from wherever you are standing.

The header keeps a running count of total aisles, how many are out of stock, how many are disabled, and how many are unassigned, which is the fastest way to spot a machine that is half empty without scrolling through it.

The same screen works across product types. A 24 aisle Pokemon trading card machine and a nicotine pouch and vape machine configure identically, and machines that are offline are clearly marked so you never push a change into the dark and assume it landed.

Machine settings in the VTM Vending app with a Restart Machine button for a remote reboot, plus machine password, screen saver ad, top banner ad, electronic lock unlock, and age verification toggles

New: machine settings

Reboot your VTM from your phone

Open any machine, tap Settings, and Restart Machine sends a remote reboot. A frozen screen or an unresponsive card reader no longer means a drive across town, you clear it from wherever you are and watch the machine come back online in the fleet count.

The same Settings tab holds the rest of the per machine controls. Machine password is viewable when you need it on site. Screen saver ad and top banner ad switch the on screen advertising on or off. Electronic lock sends an unlock command to the door on machines equipped with one. Age verification turns the ID check on or off for the whole machine.

Add to cart and prompt before purchase control how the customer checks out, whether they can buy several items in one transaction and whether the machine confirms before charging.

  • Machine password, viewable when you need it.
  • Screen saver ad and top banner ad, on or off.
  • Electronic lock, which sends an unlock command to the door on machines equipped with one.
  • Age verification, on or off for the machine.
  • Add to cart and prompt before purchase, for how the customer checks out.

Aisle configuration is also where age verification is controlled per aisle. If a machine has age verification enabled, set the age requirement to 0 on a specific aisle and the customer is not prompted to scan an ID for that product, while your vape and nicotine pouch aisles stay gated.

VTM Vending mobile app, machine location map

Map view

See where your machines actually are

The map plots every machine on your route as a pin, so you see your footprint by neighborhood instead of as a list of addresses. Tap a pin and a card slides up with the venue name, the street address, and whether that machine is online right now, with a link straight through to the machine's details.

It is the fastest way to plan a restock run. When four locations need a visit on the same day, the map tells you the order to drive them in, which a list never will.

The same online and offline filters from the machines tab apply here, so you can show only the machines that are down and see instantly whether the problem is one bad location or a whole area.

Coverage gaps are the other thing the map shows you. Seeing your pins clustered in one part of town makes it obvious where you have room to add placements, and where you are already dense enough that a new machine would just split the same traffic. For an operator building a route, that picture is worth more than a spreadsheet of addresses.

Pins reflect live status, so the map doubles as a health check. A quick glance tells you whether the machines that are down are scattered, which usually means individual hardware, or grouped, which usually means something else.

Live sales feed in the VTM Vending iOS app showing recent vends by product, venue and price, with a filter by machine controlSales feed in the VTM Vending app listing mystery products, nicotine pouches and vapes sold by venue with timestamps and prices

Sales tab

Filter down to the exact sales you want to see

The sales tab is your full transaction history, and every entry carries the product, the venue it sold at, the price, and the timestamp, plus a delivered status once the machine confirms the product actually dropped. That last part matters, because a charge without a delivery is the thing you want to catch early.

Filter by machine to isolate one location, filter by status when you only want to see delivered transactions, or use the search bar at the top to pull one product across the entire route.

That is how you find out whether trading card packs are moving at one bar and sitting at another, or whether the mystery products you just loaded are actually selling at night. The feed mixes everything the machine vends, so you see the real product mix per venue rather than a category total.

Product catalog in the VTM Vending app showing each SKU with its wholesale cost for margin tracking

Products tab

Your catalog, with your real cost on every item

Products holds everything you have loaded, and each item carries your cost of goods sold, an internal price you set yourself. Margin lives in the same place as the planogram instead of in a spreadsheet you have to reconcile later.

Because cost sits on the product, you can see what a vend actually earned rather than guessing from the vend price. Change a supplier or catch a price increase and you update it once, and every machine running that item reflects it.

Search products by name, sort the catalog, and add new items with the plus button, then assign them to aisles on any machine. The header shows how many products are in your catalog, so you always know the size of what you are managing.

Adding a product once and reusing it across machines is what keeps a growing route manageable. The same Geek Bar or the same Pokemon pack can sit in aisles at a dozen locations, priced differently by venue if you want, while the cost of goods behind it stays in one place.

That also means your reporting stays honest as the route grows. When every item carries a real cost, the revenue numbers on the home screen have actual margin behind them instead of being top line figures you still have to do math on.

Wholesale shop tab in the VTM Vending app with operator pricing on mystery products, Lucy nicotine pouches, MK Distro and Pokemon trading cards

Shop tab

Exclusive wholesale pricing, inside the app

The shop tab is exclusive wholesale pricing negotiated for VTM operators, sitting inside the same app you use to run the machines. Mystery vending products, Lucy nicotine pouches, MK Distro wholesale, Pacha Mama vapes, and Pokemon trading cards are all listed with per unit operator pricing.

The point is that restocking starts where the problem shows up. The machines tab tells you a location is running low, and you reorder from two taps away instead of opening a browser, digging up an account, and hoping the price is still what you remember.

Every listing shows the per unit cost, so you can check the number against the cost of goods you already set on the product and know your margin before the case ships.

Ordering through the app also keeps your catalog and your purchasing aligned. The products you buy here are the same products you assign to aisles, so there is no gap between what you ordered, what the machine is configured to sell, and what your cost of goods says.

For operators running mystery products and trading cards alongside vapes and pouches, this is the practical answer to sourcing. Those categories are harder to buy well than nicotine, and the pricing here is the operator tier rather than retail.

Help and support screen in the VTM Vending app with searchable help center, 24/7 AI chat, email and US phone support

Support tab

Four ways to get an answer

The last tab is support, and it gives you every route to an answer at once rather than making you pick one. The help center is searchable from the top of the screen, and Browse all articles opens the full library organized into collections for machine hardware setup, machine software setup, general troubleshooting, payment processing, replacing parts, sales and marketing, and the mobile app itself.

Live support runs through an AI agent that is available 24/7 and answers most setup and troubleshooting questions on the spot, because a machine going down at 11 PM in a bar is exactly when you need help and exactly when nobody is at a desk.

If it needs a person, email support and phone support are both listed with hours, and the website link is there too. Nothing about getting help requires leaving the app or hunting for a contact page.

VTM Vending mobile app dashboard, light modeVTM Vending mobile app dashboard, dark mode

Light and dark mode

Choose the look that fits where you are working

The whole app runs in light or dark mode, and every screen carries the theme, from the dashboard to the aisle configuration to the sales feed.

Use light mode in a bright warehouse or out on a route in daylight, where a dark screen washes out and you end up shading it with your hand. Use dark mode when you are checking sales late at night, which for a nightlife route is most of the time.

It follows your phone's setting, so the app matches everything else you are running rather than being the one screen that blinds you at 1 AM.

The choice is not just cosmetic on a route. Aisle configuration screens are dense, with a product image, a price, a count, and a set of controls in every cell, and the mode that keeps that readable in your actual lighting is the one that prevents mistakes when you are filling a machine.

Both modes carry the same information and the same controls, so nothing is hidden in one and shown in the other. Switching is instant and the app remembers it.
