What comes on every TCG machine, and what you add on
Included
22mm coils
Standard on every machine and designed for top-loader cases. A Pokémon booster pack (10 cards) loads inside a case, and the case fits the 22mm coil so one pack vends at a time.
Product pushers
Come on all trading card machines to prevent the top-loader case from getting stuck on the edge. The pusher keeps each case moving toward the front of the aisle, helping ensure a successful vend.
Sold Separately
Vinyl wrap
Machines ship unwrapped. Vinyl wraps are pre-cut in multiple sections to make them easier to apply, and are precision cut for VTM Vending machines only. Custom wraps are available as well.

Shop Cases and Booster PacksPokémon Vending Machine FAQ
What product sizes fit, and can it vend anything besides Pokémon packs?
The standard 22mm coils dispense any sealed Pokémon booster pack (10 cards) inside a top-loader case. The pack loads into the case, the case fits the 22mm coil, and one pack vends at a time. Larger coils, sold separately, handle bigger product: 35mm for sleeved packs and 55mm for mini-tins. Elite Trainer Boxes and booster boxes are too large and will not fit. A coil swap also lets the same machine vend other trading cards, candy, snacks, or small electronics.
Can you vend mini-tins?
Yes. Mini-tins fit, but they require 55mm coils, which are sold separately.
Can you vend Elite Trainer Boxes (ETBs) or booster boxes?
No. ETBs and booster boxes are too large for the machine and will not fit.
What are product pushers, and why do they matter?
Product pushers come on every TCG machine to prevent the top-loader case from getting stuck on the edge. As packs vend, the pusher keeps each case moving toward the front of the aisle, helping ensure a successful vend every time.
Do the machines come wrapped?
No. Every TCG machine ships unwrapped. Vinyl wraps are sold separately, pre-cut in multiple sections to make them easier to apply, and precision cut for VTM Vending machines only. Custom wraps are available as well. Shop vinyl wraps.
Do the machines include top-loader cases?
No. Top-loader cases are sold separately. Every booster pack vends inside a case, so plan on one case for each pack you load. You can buy cases and Pokémon booster packs together at the VTM wholesale store.
Do valuable cards get damaged in a vending machine?
Not when they vend the way VTM machines are built. A single sealed booster pack can hide a chase card worth hundreds or thousands of dollars, so every pack vends inside a rigid top-loader case on a 22mm trading card coil. The case holds the pack upright and protects the corners on the way down, so cards land in Gem Mint condition instead of getting bent by a bare spiral drop.
Do I need a license to run a Pokémon vending machine?
No. Sealed Pokémon product is an unregulated consumer good, no age verification, no special license, no franchise approval. Under the U.S. First Sale Doctrine, anyone who lawfully buys a trademarked product can resell it through any legal retail channel without the brand's permission, the same way every retailer does. That makes Pokémon vending far simpler to run than age-restricted categories like vape or alcohol.
How much money does a Pokémon vending machine make?
Operators typically make about $7 in profit per booster pack, and an average machine does 5 pack sales per day, around $933 in monthly net profit at a 41% net margin at a solid location. Operators in higher-traffic spots see $1,400 to $2,800. Location quality and pricing are the variables: weaker spots earn less, high-foot-traffic spots earn more.
Do people really pay $20 for a Pokémon pack?
Yes. Contrary to common belief, the demand is real. Across the VTM operator network, booster packs are averaging over $19 each. In May 2026, VTM machines vended more than 4,000 Pokémon booster packs at an average price just over $19. Sealed product sells out at retail, the category is a multi-billion-dollar market, and at high-foot-traffic locations the impulse buy closes the sale.
How much should I vend Pokémon packs for?
A good rule of thumb is a $7 to $9 markup per pack. VTM uses a simple two-tier formula:
Where do I source booster packs at wholesale?
VTM reserves wholesale booster pack supply for operators who own a VTM machine, packs around $10 each, without fighting for retail allocations. It's a dedicated pipeline built so you can keep machines stocked at margins that work. Shop the operator booster pack catalog →
Why won't The Pokémon Company sell machines to independents?
The Pokémon Company International doesn't sell vending machines, doesn't franchise the category, and doesn't distribute hardware to independents. The official units in airports and malls are six-figure imports built around custom elevator mechanisms and proprietary software, out of reach for almost anyone. VTM was built specifically to open the category to independent operators.
Where's the best place to put a Pokémon vending machine?
High-foot-traffic spots with a mix of impulse buyers and collectors. Gas stations, convenience stores, arcades, bowling alleys, family entertainment centers, hobby shops, and mall kiosks all perform well. Locations with families and younger customers tend to outperform standard c-stores. The two things that matter most: owner buy-in and steady foot traffic.
Can I manage the machine remotely?
Yes. VTM software gives you real-time sales, inventory, and pricing control from any iOS or Android device. Adjust prices, see which slots are running low, pull revenue reports, and track multiple locations without ever visiting a machine.
What payment methods does the machine accept, and what are the fees?
Every machine ships with Nayax VPOS Touch, which takes credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and tap-to-pay. Processing runs 3.5% plus $0.20 per transaction, plus a $9.99 monthly Nayax fee, with funds deposited straight to your bank. You get real-time reporting through both Nayax and VTM software.
What does it cost to run a machine each month?
For the first 3 months, the VTM software fee is $0. Starting month 4 it's $29 per machine per month. On top of that you'll typically pay a location commission (around 10% of revenue), payment processing (3.5% + $0.20 per transaction plus the $9.99 monthly Nayax fee), and minimal electricity. You own the machine outright.
Is VTM Vending affiliated with The Pokémon Company?
No. VTM Vending LLC and VTM Vending are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with The Pokémon Company International, Nintendo, Creatures Inc., or Game Freak. All product names, logos, and trademarks are property of their respective owners. VTM sells vending hardware and accessories and sources sealed product through legitimate retail and distribution channels.
The Economics of Pokémon Vending
Operators buy Pokémon booster packs at wholesale for around $8 and vend them for $15. Premium packs run about $12 and vend for $20. At an average of just five transactions per day, gross profit runs around $1,000 per month on a single machine, before any location commission or card fees.
Cashless payment through Nayax means no cash handling, and a restock takes only minutes.
